Letter From the President January 2018

Welcome to the 2018 Winter Semester,

2017 had its ups and downs, but we are looking forward to the opportunities a new semester presents us. We will be bringing many exciting new events and activities to you, so follow us on social media and CCSAI.CA for all the details.

You should also visit our website or your campus CCSAI office to find out more about the many other services we offer including our domestic student health plan, free legal advice, Good Food Box, or to find out more about joining or starting a club.

My main goal this semester is to continue advocating on behalf of students with transit and food security being just two of the many items we are focusing on.

We have been in contact with the U of T Scarborough Campus Student Union about the possibility of a GTA transit Upass, and have started the work to create a survey for our students to get the initial information to help with lobbying the government.

For food security, we are gathering information and data from students, and working with the College Student Alliance to begin the process of bringing a food bank on campus in the future.

We want you to know that we as your CCSAI board are committed and dedicated to being the voice for students and will make your learning experience at Centennial the best it can be. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have ideas, questions, or concerns.

Ravneet Kaur

President, CCSAI
